Funding Applications Are Now Open

The Board is accepting applications for the funding period December 1, 2026 to November 30, 2027. Priority is given to projects and activities benefitting the mental and behavioral health and wellness of Clinton County citizens.

Each reviewer scores every application on this rubric. Scores are averaged for a final result on a 100-point scale.

  • Direct services to Clinton County residents over administration and overhead 25 pts
  • Clear demonstration of community need 20 pts
  • Defined goals, objectives, and outcomes 20 pts
  • Number of Clinton County residents served and program impact 15 pts
  • Financial responsibility and leveraging other funding sources 10 pts
  • Alignment with the CCMHB strategic plan 10 pts

Purpose Statement

The purpose and the action of the Clinton County 708 Mental Health Board shall be governed by the Illinois Mental Health Act and succeeding amendments.

We work to ensure that local tax dollars are distributed in a manner that maximizes the quality and array of behavioral health and social services available to Clinton County residents.
