Everything changed in 1926. That year, Armagh won the Junior Football Championship, becoming the first Ulster county to claim a national football crown. The jerseys they wore were knitted by the Nuns of Omeath, using the only wool they had enough of: orange. The colour stuck. From the breakthrough All Ireland final of 1953,
