Mas des Capitelles Faugeres Vieilles Vignes 2022 NO UPC demanding patience — and LatourSchist grown Languedoc from a small family estate in Faugeres, run by ninth generation vigneron Jean Lauge, whose grandfather helped create the Faugeres appellation. The 30 hectares are all old plantings on pure schist hillsides, organically farmed and certified since 2011. This Vieilles Vignes leans on old vine Mourvedre and Carignan with Syrah, given a long maceration and raised mostly in tank with a touch of oak. It is a deep, rugged, value packed
