There was a number of things I wanted to acheive with this oil painting. I wanted to paint a beachscape that looked like a beach you would go to for a walk, a swim or a day with the family. This is the scene you would see when you sit on the sand looking out taking it all in. The tide is low with a calm sea. The waves are small, mostly just the calm rush of sea foam gliding onto the sand. I
