Acer shirasawanum Jordan Acer palmatum Trompenburg Compact yet expressiveAcer shirasawanum Jordan is an outstanding yellow leafed tree that originated from the Fratelli Gilardelli nursery in Italy that also introduced Fireglow, Summer Gold, etc. In the spring the leaves emerge a bright yellow, becoming either green or light yellow in the summer, depending on the conditions. Jordan is often described as being a fast growing Aureum. We have personally witnessed new shoots of up to 60 cm on younger trees, about 1 to 4 years
