Seguin-Manuel Savigny-Les-Beaune Vieilles Vignes 2015 Bottle:1 it exhibits a light strawThe 2015 Savigny les Beaune 1er Cru Lavires was backward on the nose when compared with its Vieilles Vignes counterpart, the oak still needing time to fully assimilate, which it will because it feels nicely in proportion. The palate is medium bodied with supple tannin, harmonious with sensual and vivid morello cherry and cranberry scents, sturdy on the mid palate but it dovetails into quite an elegant finish.
