It consisted of police officers who made visits to elementary school classrooms, warning children that drugs are harmful and should be refused. After several decades it was found that the program was at best ineffective, and at worst harmful and counterproductive. Eventually the program was heavily defunded and rebranded as "Keepin it Real" (KiR).
