Iconic Wines Sonoma Valley Red Oscar 2020 CACOFFER the estate assembles its 'Alma'Oscar is the brother vineyard to the famed Michael Mara Chardonnay vineyard. Oscar was planted in the tradition of the old field blend reds that were common in the early days of California winemaking. Head trained, the vineyard is a mix of Zinfandel, Petit Sirah, Grenache, Mourvdre, Carignane, and Tocai. The resulting wine is a mix of bright and rich with flavors of rich plum, baking spice, and blackberry.
