Magic Black Pearls 18" Necklace Purse making it easy to wearGrown, Not Cut Pearls form when a mollusk coats an irritant in layer after layer of nacre the same iridescent substance that lines the inside of its shell until it hardens into a smooth, rounded bead. Unlike faceted gemstones, no cutting or polishing creates the shape; it's entirely built by the organism itself over time. These are Preciosa Czech pearls in a deep magic black, strung on a simple figaro chain rather than layered with additional beads.
