This rum has been made in tribute to a Victorian ancestor of Thomas G Hurst (Creator of Rockstar Spirits & multi award winning spiced rum creator) Captain Matthew Webb. The Naval Captain rose to fame in 1875 when he became the first man to swim across the English Channel.
