本作「青瓷蓮弁茶盌」は、南宋時代・龍泉窯で焼かれた砧青磁茶盌を範とし、初代 諏訪蘇山様 が二十五年にわたり探究した“蘇山青磁”の翡翠色を、四代 諏訪蘇山様 が現代に継承して制作した一碗です。外面に巡る蓮弁文は、蓮華の清浄性と再生を象徴し、茶席に「和敬清寂」の精神を静かに呼び込みます。
