The ski resort is not yet open

In 2012 we had a lack of snow but more cold during the month of December

In the fall of 2012 I went to Sloans Lake to photograph at sunrise since it is the time of year the sun will rise directly over the city

Alaska Governors Mansion at Christmas Size:11"x14" This image was an afternoonJust after Thanksgiving a good amount of snow fell in Juneau, and last night some more started to fall. With camera in hand I headed over to the Governors Mansion to photograph the holiday lights with some fresh snow falling. The mansion itself is in a residential area not too far from the capitol building.
