The full moon is once again approaching and in the evening it is bright enough to experiment with some night photography

but less than in the prior few days

With the afternoon light

Those times the clouds roll into Juneau it does become interesting looking at the mountains around town

Patterns on the Walk Size:11"x14" The full moon is onceWalking near the Platte River one morning I noticed the shadow being cast on the sidewalk since the sun was perpendicular to the walk. As the shadow went off into the distance I used an aperture to let the shadow slowly go out of focus as it went into the distance and off of the frame. Recently I was looking at this image and converted it to black and white to provide more attention to the shadow versus the grass at the edge of the frame.
