The plot is above that of the famous Grand Cru Clos de Vougeot. "Echezeaux" is derived from a Latin word meaning "buildings" and it indicates the presence of Gallo Roman ruins. Beautiful dark ruby colour and clear. The nose, complex and very pleasant, reveals notes of black fruits and empyreumatic, then with aeration, the scents of cooked fruit. The
