Tyrian Purple cormo Collection: HolidayTyrian Purple otherwise known as Phonecian Red or Imperial Purple is a rich purple shade with a deep red undertone. In ancient times, this dye was made from extracting it from tens of thousands of sea snails. The tricky process was kept a closely guarded secret by it's makers as a result it was color that was highly expensive, and highly sought after. Ultimately it was so valued that by the 4th century Roman law dictated that only the Emperor was
