Lining up the colors so they would fill the frame in a compelling way sometimes means having your tripod in a tight space but fortunately on this image it wasn't too much of an issue

Sunset along the Beach in Oregon Size:18"x24" As we stood on theI spent some time along the Oregon Coast in the southern part of the state one February. During this time I found an open beach and did some long exposure photography at sunset to capture the motion of the water as it came onto the shore. At low tide there was plenty of opportunity to try different angles, however with that there was also the challenge of the tripod sinking in the wet sand.
