Gould Campbell, Vintage other_regions_italy Silky in texture and livelyMedium deep ruby. Liqueur like aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, cassis, smoked meat, minerals and maple syrup. Juicy, intensely flavored and medium sweet; not unctuous but offers very good intensity and snap. Flavors of black fruits and licorice. A round, nicely balanced wine whose slightly fiery but persistent finish features rather fine tannins and good grip. Stephen Tanzer
