While photographing one morning from the popular skyline location of Speer and Zuni after a colorful sunrise the glow of the sun started to make its way between the buildings

however like myself they were treated to the clouds lighting this first morning of 2012

Using a telephoto lens I was able to zoom in close to the beach and waited from the next wave too come onshore giving three distinct variations of color

Winter in Washington Park Size:20"x30" While photographing one morning fromIn early January 2009 snow fell overnight leaving a nice winter scene. Seeing the snow start to fall on Saturday evening, I planned to wake up early to get out to Washington Park prior to sunrise and see how it had been transformed. It was quiet in the park and as I headed to a tree which I found almost a year ago a slight chill was present but the beauty of the snow covered surroundings quickly made it go away.
