This is an incredible aged grain which has also benefitted from maturation in a Bourbon barrel giving the whisky plenty of vanilla and oak flavours. Nose: Raisins in syrup, vanilla, oak, Danish pastry. Brandy snaps. Palate: Heaps of vanilla with sweet oak mid spice and dessert flavours. Finish: Long sweet finish with a vanilla raisin aftertaste. 70cl 40. 2%
