For this photograph I wanted to get a perspective not normally obtained and searched for some snow across the street in Civic Center Park

Well I think this image pretty much sums up an early August afternoon in Juneau

With the snowiest months in the Denver in March and April you never know when spring will truly arrive though

Shadows in the Sand Presentation:Matted the 6th highest peak inI made a third trip into the sand dunes at Death Valley National Park at sunrise during my time at the park and was treated with some direct light which gave the deep shadows in the sand. With an earlier in the week wind storm as well as a more remote area in the sand dunes I found may areas without footprints giving the texture of the sand blown into this appearance by the wind.
