From street level I positioned some of the non-repeating detail into the upper section of the frame and captured this image of the building

Once the sun rose it was time for a little exploring prior heading back to Kaanapali and some time at the pool

As the snow was starting to melt

I noticed the background and found a spot where I could combine the two elements as one

Building in San Francisco Size:20"x30" From street level I positionedWhile in San Francisco I was walking towards the Ferry Terminal to catch a boat to Alameda when I noticed the 101 California building in the late afternoon light. With the sun almost set I made my way to the building and with a long lens looked up to capture the lines and patterns with some remaining sunlight.
