The piece is one of only six created, of which this example is #4. It is properly signed "HB", numbered #4 6. The piece was cast by the top tier Italian foundry, Tesconi & C. Fonderia d'Arte, in Pietrasanta, Italy. Fernando Botero, Isamu Noguchi, and many other important artists had their bronzes cast by this firm. Please see foundry marks. Ms. Blumenfeld is an
