Antique, Early, Doulton Lambeth Stoneware, Salt Glaze, Small Jug, Harvest, Mead Jug, circa 1860, Makers Mark Motorsport Very Good condition and SignedLovely early 'Doulton Ware' made by Doulton in their pottery in Lambeth, London, England. The jug is in a solid condition for its age and has no repairs, but it does have some chips to the rim as can be seen in the pictures. Nethertheless for such an early piece it is a lovely item very much of its period in design and manufacture.
