Alex Garner Gatherum 3 - Signed Character Design Quarterly the fatherA beautiful out of print process book by DC cover artist Alex Garner. Alex reveals some of his process creating 25 finished illustrations, mostly covers. For each finished color piece, he shows 3 to 6 images showing how he got to the finished piece. Sometimes he shows the steps, other times he shows alternative versions as he zeros in on the final. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in computer science, Alex Garner
