French Wrought Iron Buckle Mirror C.1970 The Roost Large Art Deco pewter vaseFrench wrought iron mirror designed to resemble an oversized buckle or harness fitting. A really unusual piece with bold metalwork and a lovely aged patina throughout. Ive never been able to pin down the maker, but its very much in the style of pieces made by Lopold Gest in the 1970s. It has a great sculptural look to it and works well as both a mirror and decorative wall piece. Good vintage condition with wear and marks in keeping with age and use. H
