RARE c.1820s French 16cm Hand And, Horn Brisé, Pique and HP Raised Gold, MULLOT, Duvelleroy Stamps on Box salts Stunning marquetry on this oneFrom my private collections, this stunning little beauty of 200 years ago, French Empire to shortly afterward, it was made by "MULLOT l'an, Rue Saint Denis No. 130" whose maker stamp still is in place on the inner lip of the original box. Interestingly, on the opposite side is a fan shaped paper label from Duvelleroy. A consensus would suggest it might mean Duvelleroy either re marketed the precious old fan, or perhaps re ribboned it at some point,
