Carved Bone Prisoner of War Style 4.5" Table Snuff Box, Horses & Carriage Fouquet and called "vermeil"Antique early 1800s, likely Russian, carved bone prisoner of war style 4. 5" table snuff box with pyrographic or lac filled incised decoration including scene with horses and carriage! Remarkable condition given its age, this very similar in style to old Napoleonic prisoner of war pieces that we've had the pleasure to offer of the years. This one solid bone, you can tell because of the striations visible (mostly on the sides). Wonderful and rare piece
