Time For a Change Series #7 (Freedom Fighters) We used to sing afound paper and acrylic on canvas 48 X 48 in. "Womens contribution to the fight for freedom was tremendous. I am honoring two of these fighters here. I want to see myself in them, I want to be like them. I put them in their own spaces in this painting as part of the blocks that build up for us all. I respect their sense, their skill, and that thing that makes you get up every day and want to fight. Not just for yourself but for others too." H. K.
