On an afternoon walk, Steve came upon giant mushrooms with tops resembling bowls in which water had accumulated. This bowl, one of a series Steve calls Shrooms, is inspired by these intriguing fungi shapes. This Shroom is sculpted with stoneware. The Shroom's interior has a second layer of stretched porcelain and an incised line glazed with Creme Brulee. The Shroom's exterior is unglazed to reflect the colors and texture of
