When visiting Giacomo Fenocchio in 1985, he welcomed us warmly, plucked some small, orange peaches from the orchard, disappeared in the cellar for a couple of minutes and returned with 4 or 5 unlabelled bottles. He opened all of them, then cut up the peaches, and we tasted his wine with peaches. It was a heavenly experience! Now Giacomo's son runs the winery and makes wine just as
