Fabulous PAIR of antique Victorian to early Edwardian era Black Forest hand carved "Fruits of the Hunt" themed 17 1/8" wall plaques

though the mirror rounds beneath where they'd rest are there and unbroken

Why that would have been done is a mystery but it's French for sure

Antique Carved Black Forest & Meerschaum Pipe in Case, Etui - Elk, Stag, Antlers watch chain One of a handful ofA spectacular 19th century carved cheroot pipe, meerschaum bowl and hand carved wood stem that is surmounted by the most fabulous bull elk, or large stag deer. Finished with a carved amber mouthpiece, and in the original fitted leather clad case, this one is perfectly preserved just as you see it. It would appear to have never or very rarely ever been used. The carved stag elk is superb. Photos tell all, including measurements. Very good to excellent
