Antique French Catholic Maniple, Ceremonial Stole, Silk and Embroidery, Gold Metallic Fringe Trim boite a halles scent or perfume flasksRecently in from France, I'm told the proper name for this long ecclesiastical stole is a maniple. I'm not Catholic, and always appreciate the help of people who know more about the various vestments. That said, we love these made up into the tops of fabulous throw pillows, and so do decorators. This one has 2 suitable panels, silk with silk embroidery and trimmed out in gold metallic fringe and trim. Full measurements noted on photos. Very good
