Farr Rising Pinot Noir 2024 Vegan the Cuvee des Vignes CentenairesThe Wine The Farr Rising Pinot vineyard, planted in 2001, features a diverse array of rootstocks but is limited to three clonesMV6, 114, and 115. The vineyard is situated on a highly exposed, nutrient poor north facing slope, topped with grey sandy loam and ironstone pebbles, transitioning to black volcanic soil over limestone at the base. The grapes are handpicked and sorted directly in the vineyard. Fermentation occurs in open top fermenters, with
