Flower and Leaf Kashigata Set chrome A rare vintage original withA pair of Kashigata floral wood carvings mounted on patinated steel stands. Made in Japan; circa 20th Century. Sold as set only: 4. 5"w x 3. 5"d x 10. 5"h; 7"w x 4"d x 11. 25"h Kashigata is a traditional wooden mold for making Japanese dry sweets called Higashi that are used in tea ceremonies and shrine offerings. They are shaped into objects of art and symbolism. Often made of sakura (cherry wood) and seasoned for about 3 years before carving. This
