Gilt brass lion head style hilt, with inserted red glass eyes, obverse languet depicting Heer style eagle with spread wings. Backstrap, knuckle bow and ferrule decorated with oakleaf pattern. Black celluloid grip with brass wire wrap. Blade washer intact. Black lacquered scabbard
